COFFEE TALK

Hi!!!!  It's October!  It's my favorite month!  I'm so happy! 

Exactly one year ago I was knee-deep in anticipation, sleep deprivation, and anxiety preparing for my wedding.  I have been revisiting many of my countdown posts and I just cannot come to terms with the fact that all of that was a year ago.  It is a horrible cliche, but I just had no real comprehension of how rapidly days would turn into weeks, and weeks to months, and months to...a year.  Life's a slippery thing. 

We are going apple-picking at my very favorite orchard tomorrow and I am STOKED!  I have these turnovers on the brain, and of course this apple cake will be making a reappearance. 

The past eight days have primarily consisted of me trying to figure out which pieces of my wardrobe coordinate best with my new hair.  Serious stuff. 

Well, at least I'm not scorpio... 

Can I somehow convince you to put this chicken parmesan on your weekend menu?  I really want you to have that happiness in your life. 

I finally allowed myself to embrace the bootie trend (gosh I wish they had a different name...) this past weekend and I am kind of loving it.  I have such a hard time with ballet flats, but I do not always want to go full-on knee boot so I like this compromise, though I still think they look flattering on everyone but me. 

The moment I saw this soup I put it on my menu.  I CANNOT wait.  Give me all the buffalo chicken goodness.
