COFFEE TALK
Hey, hey, hey! It’s Friday! We made it, and now it is time to live the weekend with our snapchat filters on and throw care to the wind. Can we do that together? O.K., good.
I know I am soo late to this party, but I have the new Beauty and the Beast soundtrack playing on repeat with no intentions of stopping. It is just the perfect background for cookie-baking, road-tripping, errand-running, or at-home karaoke with my mister. The "Evermore" track won my heart.
Okay, I was almost tempted, but I cannot get myself to go there. The words bacon and meatless just don’t go together in my mind.
All my foodie dreams currently include pimento cheese - consider yourself warned. Also, YESSS!
Yeah, I’m gonna need this bag. Oh and this one too. Oh gosh, this one...just take all my money.
My popsicle mold has been calling to me and I think it’s time. I have my eye on a couple of recipes, including strawberry cucumber pops and these apple cider & rosemary pops - oh my goodness. And of course there is this favorite from last summer - so good!
I think I probably need to add this color to my nail polish collection.
How amazing does this fresh cherry chipotle bbq sauce sound?! I am planning to make these sandwiches for Mr. Pedantic very soon.
This weekend is Father’s Day - my least favorite holiday. I know, that is a terrible thing to say, especially because I have a really wonderful father. However, every year I dread the day’s approach as I rack my brain to think of a present. Why are fathers so hard to shop for?
There is a new obsession going on in our household, and for the first time I have a game on my iPhone. Mr. Pedantic and I cannot stop playing Panda Pop. You have to download it right this minute. I’m warning you though, there goes your whole weekend.
I gave into summer’s seductive call and impulse-bought myself a flamingo float. These 90+ degree days have me thinking I’m a pool gal. If you are looking for me next week, I’ll be the very pink-skinned lady begrudgingly holding a deflated pool float.
Wishing you all a beautiful, June weekend!
Sincerely,
Pedantic Foodie
