COFFEE TALK

It’s Friday! We find ourselves in November, enjoying the remnants of the Halloween candy, and looking towards more chilly mornings, Christmas music, and an extra hour of sleep Saturday night.

Did you catch my recipe on PMQ For Two this week?!

I have fallen in love with this Lip + Cheek balm from Milk. I had originally tried to order this in “Werk,” but since it was sold out in store and online I went ahead and ordered “Rally.” I am IN LOVE. This stuff goes on so smoothly and is highly pigmented so it does not take much. The finish is glowy and fresh. Truly, I cannot say enough good about it, and that is not sponsored, I am just obsessed!

I may have undue hope in my limited crafting abilities, but I am determined to make a slew of these gorgeous paper poinsettias this year. It is my very first year hosting our big family Christmas and I am planning to pull out all the stops when it comes to decorations.

I came across this recipe recently and I really want to give it a try. Roast chicken is one of my very favorite comfort foods.

Shutterbean to the rescue! I LOVED Tracy’s guide on organizing cords!

Are you listening to Christmas music yet? I was going to hold out until November 1st, but in a weak moment I gave in and turned on the holiday playlist last week. Christmas music is just so cozy.

I think we could all use some homemade spaghettios in our lives.

We are doing our family pictures this weekend so I can get to work on choosing a Christmas card, which always takes me just about forever. Fingers crossed that Sabine finds it in herself to hold a pose for more than three seconds.

Have you all tried this snack mix yet? If not, let it happen this weekend, I promise you won’t regret it.

Happy, happy weekending!

Sincerely,

Pedantic Foodie
