COFFEE TALK

The countdown is showing four days until Christmas and the entire world seems to be scrambling in the most joyous spirit of disarray. No matter how much shopping remains to be done, or how much butter and sugar you need to transform into cookies over the weekend, I hope we can all find a great sense of peace and joy in these days of glorious celebration.

Above is our Christmas card for this year. I am always so thrilled with everything I order from Minted.

Tomorrow, Mr. Pedantic and I are hosting our Christmas party and I could not be more excited. I have changed the menu approximately eight times. Two things are for sure though, I am definitely making this gorgeous cheese ball and this snickerdoodle hot cocoa.

I recently discovered LuMee phone cases and now I feel like I might need one. Oops.

This past Tuesday, we celebrated my birthday by going to see the newest Grinch movie and it was just the cutest! If you have yet to see it, I hope you can indulge yourself in a holiday matinee sometime over the next few days. There’s something magical about going to the theatre at Christmastime.

When we were in New York City a couple weeks ago I was able to get my hands on a box of Dominque Ansel’s Christmas morning cereal and I am so excited to give it a try in a few days! We are going to enjoy it Christmas Eve when our tiny family celebrates our own Christmas since we will be doing Christmas brunch with my whole family.

I finally got around to trying out Glam Glow GlowStarter and oh my goodness - I am in love! Any way to add a little more shimmer to my life.

This cinnamon raisin bread pudding looks all kinds of wonderful. I just love the simple comfort of bread pudding around the holidays. Feels so festive.

Well, I am off to begin my baking extravaganza! Wishing you all the happiest of Fridays.

Sincerely,

Pedantic Foodie
