COFFEE TALK
Oh Friday. Oh darling, wonderful, glorious Friday… I am greeting you with tears of joy and very tired, puffy, sleep-deprived eyes.
What a week it has been. Last Saturday was our last night at Norwyk Manor (cue the tears). We have officially taken residence at Claiborne House and the past five days have been a struggle. However, we are nearing the end, thanks to so much help, patience, and a wonderful friend who kindly stocked our fridge with meals so that we could take a break from the drive-thru life we’d been living.
Can you believe we have only three days left in September?! I just do not know where it went and it makes me horribly sad because September is my favorite month. I’d like a re-do, preferably one without a move, hurricane, and concussion.
With living in two places at once, working, and painting I have made more than my fair share of Starbucks trips lately. Not really surprising. But, what is surprising is that few of them have actually resulted in my standard PSL. I mean, that’s why I go to Starbucks this time of year. Or, at least, it was. Now, I have a new love in my life. Their Maple Pecan Latte is SO GOOD. Right now my go-to order is a grande iced americano in a vente cup filled with half and half, with four pumps of maple pecan syrup. Not high maintenance at all. Seriously though, you need to try it.
DID YOU SEE THIS?! I am super excited for you to take a look at this spread I was fortunate enough to be able to do for PMQ For Two. It was so much fun!
Slightly in love with Alton’s gorgeous new space.
A pretzel bar? Um, yes, yes, yes!
I hope your weekend is filled with carbs, milkshakes, and all the fall things.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for being here every week. It means so much.
Sincerely,
Pedantic Foodie
