COFFEE TALK

I have spilled a lot of things, had four of my favorite plates slip out of an upper cabinet only to break on top of my head, and as I type this a total downpour has begun…just moments after I decided it was time to take Sabine for her walk. Yep, it has been one of those weeks. However, in many ways, it feels like the best week we have had this year. January has packed a punch. but there have been some bright spots over the past few days that have brought a renewed sense of motivation.

So far, this year has been a discipline in reevaluating. We have been trying to find both balance, vision, and motivation these past few weeks and there is still so much room for improvement. This article added some fresh food for my thoughts.

We received our annual order from Fortnum & Mason Wednesday night and I am in tea heaven. Pistachio and Clotted Cream is my newest obsession.

While we are in anglophile mode, did you catch this past week’s episode of Victoria? I feel like this season is moving really slowly…or am I just impatient?

My hair is beyond dry right now and I cannot figure out what to do abut it. I do not wash it every day, I just had it trimmed, and I am using protective serums before applying heat, but I cannot seem to get any moisture. Please, tell me your tips. Do hair masks really work? I am up for trying just about anything right now.

I just do not get the air fryer fanaticism. Do you have one? Do you love it? Right now, I feel about air fryers the same way I feel about low-fat ice cream.

This soundtrack has been on constant repeat in our house lately. It is so irresistibly cheery.

Mr. Pedantic and I are hoping to create a pantry in our new abode because living without one is harder than hard. I am bookmarking this article for future reference. We are so ridiculously excited.

Muffins are one of my favorite things in this world and nothing can brighten up a weekend like these lemon coconut muffins or banana almond muffins. Put on your favorite sweatshirt, tie up that messy bun, and bake something with someone you love.

Wishing you all the coziest of weekends!

Sincerely,

Pedantic Foodie
