COFFEE TALK
This week has been a whirlwind of activities and I am looking for a few cozy mornings accented with steaming cups of tea, Christmas cookies, a hyper puppy, and a bit of light work accomplished under a fluffy blanket. That said, I’m doing my best to enjoy the busy and embrace the hustle.
I spent part of my birthday this past week with a dear friend, baking cookies and trying our hands at transforming crepe paper into faux oranges. I may have a new obsession with crepe paper crafts. When I’m spending more time washing glue off my fingers than washing dishes, feel free to send intervention.
Here are a few “essential” Christmas links for your weekend planning and pleasure.
These are my favorite sugar cookies. I make them every year and they taste just like my great grandmother’s.
Did you catch my newest obsession? This Sparkling Cranberry Punch with Grapefruit & Rosemary is a true crowd-pleaser and has recipes for both cocktail and mocktail versions so everyone can enjoy a glass!
I am making this dip for Christmas this year and might even make a double batch so I can enjoy the leftovers.
This short album feels very nostalgic to me.
I’ve got my eye on this sweet potato tea cake.
Wishing you all a wonderful last few days of Christmas bustling!
Sincerely,
Pedantic Foodie
