OUR TOP TEN FAVORITE PRODUCTS FROM TRADER JOE'S
It’s no secret that I have a (debatably) unreasonable obsession with Trader Joe’s. I have been called out on multiple occasions for said obsession, but after years of browsing, eating, and exploring other grocers, Joe and I are only growing closer.
We may have invited my favorite TJ cashier to our wedding. Like I said, I love this store.
I wanted to share a bit of my fanaticism with you by way of a top 10 list. This is the internet, it’s what we do.
I have divided the list into my “fun” favorites (which were incredibly hard to narrow down by the way), and my “always-buys” - the pantry staples I use every week.
Orange Peach Mango Juice. Hands-down my favorite juice ever. It’s a guilty pleasure, but it’s juice so…not so guilty?
2. This rose oil hand cream is a more recent favorite of mine but I have already bought it several times over. It really is the best lotion I have purchased in a while and it smells SO good!
3. One of the best parts about Trader Joe’s is their snack aisle. These Ode to the Classic Potato Chips are my very favorite potato chip.
4. If you are a grown-up who misses the styrofoam egg cartons of chocolate-covered marshmallows, then you will love these tiny bits of rich, dark chocolate and puffy marshmallow. Dark Chocolate Covered Marshmallows feel fancy and nostalgic all at once.
5. Another new favorite of mine. Fellow texture freaks, this is your new favorite snack. Giant Peruvian Inca Corn is a total game changer and I cannot get enough.
PANTRY FAVORITES
Here are a few of the less glamorous items that I use and buy every week. We always have them on hand and I am never disappointed in the quality.
Unfiltered Organic Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil - My go-to olive oil. It is robust in flavor and I use it for everything from pan-frying chicken to drizzling over pasta.
Organic Tomatoes Diced in Tomato Juice - These are the tomatoes I use to make my favorite marinara. I always keep at least one can on hand for last-minute marinara emergencies.
Individually Frozen Chicken Breasts - Even though I make out a menu each week, my food moods are unpredictable so I like to keep some other protein options on hand that I can pull out in a pinch.
Sourdough Batard - Our favorite bread for sandwiches or toast. It’s a ripe avocados best friend.
Whole Milk Ricotta - I use this for my all of my ravioli, pastas, and often whip it for crostini. It is the closest thing to homemade ricotta that I have found yet!
Happy Monday, friends!
Sincerely,
Pedantic Foodie
