Oh hi there! HAPPY FRIDAY!
Last weekend Mr. Pedantic and I rode a camel. I was wearing a dress and wishing I had grabbed my overalls instead. All very normal.
This was probably my favorite read of the week. I think the internet has learned how nosy I am and I am very happy that it is accommodating. I feel strangely connected when I can read the shopping list of one of my favorite humans.
What do you think of this trend? I’ve never been one to turn down cheese so I think I’m up for at least a single scoop, especially if it is the burrata soft serve. Gimme all of that.
I found a new color of my favorite lip gloss at Sephora last week and I think I have to have it.
What have you been eating lately? Earlier this week I seared up some steaks and made a blue cheese and arugula salad with a bacon vinaigrette and oh my goodness... I am dying to share it, but am leery to give the appearance of falling into this bacon-obsessed culture. Can we please stop making bacon chewing gum?
Thankfully, I only find myself at Walmart about four times a year, but even that is far too often. I think I would be up for giving this a try.

The time has come for me to start working on pistachio ice cream. It is one of my top three favorite flavors but I have never attempted it at home. I am adding it to my summer bucket list.
I brought home the most delicious blueberries this week and they have me dreaming about this blueberry pie. I always have high hopes for berry baked goods but I typically end up eating all my berries by the handful before the butter has even softened. I just cannot help myself.
What are your plans for this weekend? I am going to be baking up a bunch of scones for a bridal shower and hopefully I will make it down to the pool at least once to escape this blistering weather. Happy, happy weekend to you!
