For the past three months, I have been aching for a confectioner’s sugar-like finish on this wintry landscape, and just when I had given up hope, it came. Sabine and I have been sitting window-side, giddy and blanket-clad since yesterday afternoon and I have been so thankful to have a bit of extra magic added to my every day.

I have been following Amy Kavelaris on Instagram for years and I am so in love with her art. So, it comes as no surprise that I am absolutely smitten with her new book. This will definitely be in our little love’s library.

I brought home a bag of these new Scalloped Potato Chips from Trader Joe’s and Mr. Pedantic and I might have finished the bag in one evening. Oops. I am planning a return trip today for the purposes of stocking up. If you haven’t tried them yet, you must.

Rosé-flavored popcorn? I’m not mad at the idea.

This earl grey yogurt cake feels like a solid snow day project.

In our home, with new “favorites” constantly being developed, sampled, and savored, many much-loved recipes never find their way back onto our plates. But, every-so-often, a recipe gains instant “repeat” status and is thrown into a sacred category all its own, to be fished out of the archives over and over again. This elite status is not earned by mere deliciousness, since I would attribute that title to all of the recipes I share, but by an uninterpretable algorithm which balances comfort, ease, singularity and pure delight. It’s a science.
