I, like all of us, have many thoughts swirling around in my head right now.
The world feels a little chaotic, and I oscillate between extremes of calm - resting in the sweetness of our baby girl’s nursery and the folding of tiny clothes - and concern that the very seams of life are disintegrating, and that I am about to bring a tiny little person into a very germy world. Whew. It’s just a whole lot of breathing in and out and hugs from Sabine.

The first of my two baby showers (I know, my friends and family are pretty amazing) is this weekend and I am so excited. So many moments spent believing this day would never come, yet here we are. I cannot wait to gush over all the pink that is to come.
We had our hospital tour this week and wow…it’s getting real.
